Our printmaking, custom frames, furniture, and art shipping services are things we enjoy doing. We don’t have to do anything we do at Backyard Studios. We just like to and, for that reason, we do a good job.

We both have regular jobs, kids, and all the regular life stuff. All of our projects happen because we scratch up the time and stay up late. We know how much artists pour into their work because we, too, are artist.

We are Jacob and Jeni. And we are people who do their best to bring our passion projects to life.  We make prints because we love making prints. We carve every block, pick every colour, take every reference photo and learn something new every time. 

Every piece of furniture we build or alter, we do ourselves. And maybe with some help our friends. We have the best friends who sometimes happen to be awesome trades people. We believe in community, doing our best, and being nice because who wants to be the reason the world is meaner?
